ABOUT ME
As an science enthusiast, my passion has continuously driven me to expand my knowledge in the field of civil engineering. I received my M. Sc. Degree in structural engineering from the department of civil and environmental engineering at university of Tarbiat modares. My thesis was concerned with the behavior of tall buildings. I’m planning to pursue my education in Ph.D. degree focusing on the improvement of buildings performances. Keep exploring my site to learn more information about me, and reach out directly with any questions.

EDUCATION
2014 - 2016
M. SC. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
TARBIAT MODARES UNIVERSITY, TEHRAN, IRAN
(RATED 333 IN THE WORLD ACCORDING TO CWTS)
Thesis Topic: Evaluation of Seismic Performance Levels of Steel Framed-Tube Structures in Tall Buildings Using Pushover Analysis (GPA: 4/4)
Supervisor: Professor Hamzeh Shakib
Two years research-based program, In the thesis, the results of Pushover and Dynamic analyses of Framed-tube structures were compared in terms of displacements, drifts, shears and hinges distribution in the height of the structures in two distinct hazards levels (Design Based Earthquake and Maximum Considered Earthquake) in order to estimate the accuracy of nonlinear static analysis against real events in tall buildings.
As well as this, in order to developing the topic, a research was conducted on seismic performance assessment of outriggered structures equipped with Buckling Restrained Braces (BRB). The lateral resistance system includes: perimeter frames, outriggers and belt trusses and concrete core. The aim of this section was to introduce the approach of seismic performance evaluation in tall buildings in details, based on tall buildings guidelines (TBI, LATBSDC), introducing performance targets and acceptance criteria in two hazard levels, including: Service Earthquake (SLE) and Maximum Considered Earthquake (MCE). Finally, a study was carried out on the effect of adding outrigger and belt trusses on the distribution of hinges and forces in flanges and webs (i.e. shear lag phenomenon).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Structural Designer and supervisor in Moghavem saze corp.
Designing several residential and commercial blocks with various structural systems. The most noteworthy cases are the first picture which is a Special Steel Moment Frame AND the second one is a concrete dual systems (Special Concrete Moment Frame and Special reinforced concrete shear walls) with complete design notes for connections.
All the designs were in compliance with Iranian national code for loading. To be more specific, ANSI/AISC 360-16 and ANSI/AISC 341-16 for steel and ACI 318-14 for concrete buildings were applied to fulfill the seismic designs' requirements.
